1. Acceptance of Donations
Sunnah Helping Fund (referred to as “the Organization”) reserves the right to accept or decline any contribution, gift, or grant at its discretion. The Organization will only accept donations that can be utilized or expended in alignment with its mission and objectives.
2. Irrevocable Gifts
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if, under any reasonable circumstances, the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.
3. Tax and Legal Advice
The Organization refrains from providing advice regarding the tax or legal treatment of donations. Donors are encouraged to seek guidance from their own professional advisors to assist them in the process of making their donation.
4. Types of Acceptable Donations
The Organization accepts donations in the form of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the Organization’s discretion. Certain other gifts, such as real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions with restrictions, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to potential obligations or liabilities they may pose.
5. Donor Acknowledgments
The Organization will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by the Organization.
6. Donor Intent and Anonymity
The Organization will respect the intent of donors relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those desiring anonymity. For anonymous gifts, information about the donor will be restricted to only those staff members with a need to know.
7. Third-Party Compensation
The Organization will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders’ fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Organization.
8. Use of Website
By accessing and using the Organization’s website, donors and users agree to act in a responsible and legal manner. Users shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules and undertake not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could harm, offend, or cause nuisance to any other internet user.

The Organization is committed to protecting the privacy of its donors and website users. Personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of processing donations, providing receipts, and communicating updates. The Organization will not share or sell personal information to third parties without consent, except as required by law.
